Victoria Safran is Of Counsel to the firm and a partner in Sentner Safran LLP.
Prior to founding Sentner Safran, Victoria served for ten years in senior positions with the office of the New York State Attorney General. She investigated and prosecuted matters of public interest, including financial frauds, securities frauds, internet scams, deceptive business practices, false advertising and charities fraud. She was appointed by Attorney General Eric Schneiderman as a Public Integrity Officer in charge of public corruption complaints, served as a pro bono county Assistant District Attorney for Economic Crimes, and was awarded the Attorney General’s Lefkowitz Memorial Award for Outstanding Service.
Prior to joining the Attorney General’s office, Victoria spent eleven years in private practice where she represented financial institutions, government agencies, commercial real estate developers and multinational corporations in complex commercial litigation involving bank fraud, mortgage and real estate transactions and multinational businesses in commercial disputes, intellectual property matters and questions of constitutional law. She also represented employers in employment law disputes, and counseled them on employment matters.
Victoria earned a Bachelor’s Degree in from Carnegie Mellon University and her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
